Italian Doctor Advises: How To Protect Yourself From Coronavirus

“I rarely write Facebook statuses, but I felt the need to say something like a doctor living in the country with the world’s worst coronavirus outbreak outside China. People who live in Italy, Germany, France and other countries that are affected with the virus, I strongly recommend you to stay in those countries to avoid spreading the virus to other people in other countries. Parents, those of you who leave these affected countries in order to protect your kids, children that get coronavirus usually end up with mild symptoms, symptoms like the common cold. While kids are least affected, they’re dangerous because they don’t follow the hygiene preventative measures and therefore they can infect other people.
Those of you who decided to travel and explore the world and Europe during the outbreak, I recommend you to contact regulatory authorities and stay in quarantine for 14 days.

If you experience fever, dry cough, and shortness of breath, do not go to the hospital. Contact your doctor, explain to him your symptoms and wait for treatment. Hospitals are breeding grounds for the virus.
Last, but not least, let’s be conscious and selfless. Follow good hygiene, wash your hands often, disinfect them, and use a mask if you notice any symptoms. Let’s take care of one another because that’s the only way to limit the spreading of coronavirus. “
